Our Spirit Fair on April 13th was a huge success, and a metric ton of fun! It was wonderful to see so many new faces, and of course, catch up with the familiar ones. The day started out a bit slowly, thanks to the winter we’re having this spring, and it’s ability to create hazardous conditions on the highways. Thankfully everyone arrived safely! But once Mother Nature decided to settle, things picked up quite nicely Our readers were booked most of the day (we’re sorry if anyone had a long wait for their reading. The readers like to be thorough and make sure everyone gets the messages they need. Sometimes that requires a few extra minutes.) and our vendors seemed to always have people viewing their wares. The bake sale went over very well, hope everyone enjoyed the yummy goodness!
A big THANK YOU to everyone that helped make our fundraiser possible! Special thanks to the Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and The Gathering Circle for hosting our event After fees and supplies, we made $716.39 to go towards this year’s Pagan Pride Day in Telulah Park on September 7th. We couldn’t have done it without you!
In other news, now that we have our date set for this year’s Pagan Pride Day, we’ll be starting to get to work on plans for the big day! Stay tuned for information on info booths and vending, workshops, rituals and of course, volunteer opportunities
